Pursuant to Bylaw No. 10-2016 of the RM of Spiritwood No. 496, effective immediately, this 22nd day of April, 2021, a fire ban has been issued for the RM of Spiritwood No. 496 until further notice. All open air & outdoor fires are banned including controlled burns, recreational fires, burning barrels, fire pits & fireworks. Propane or natural gas BBQs are allowed. This advisory does not apply to fires which are contained in cooking and heating appliances which are fueled by propane or natural gas. Any person who sets a fire under this Fire Ban shall be responsible for the costs of extinguishing the fire and may incur fines.

Meeting Lake Regional Park is now operating at full capacity.
Restrictions on out of province campers has been lifted.
All services are once again available, including laundry, showers, mini-golf, fish shack as well as the playground and beach.
On Saturday June 15th there will be a Wildland Firefighting course at
Meeting Lake Regional Park. It will be held in the Round Hall from 9am to noon.
The course is for Meeting Lake Cabin owners, seasonal renters and local landowners.
